My Nightly Routine (with Smile Brilliant)

As a working mom of 2 toddlers, it goes without saying that my life is very busy! On a daily basis, I feel as though I am being pulled in so many different directions. One of the main reasons I started my blog and have continued to post through this busy season of life, is to have my 'me time' everyday. Weather it's just taking the time to post on social media, post on the blog or follow along with other blogs and bloggers that inspire me.

I also look forward to spending the end of every busy work day at home with my family. Once the boys are in bed, I spend the last hour before I go to bed just relaxing and enjoying my 'me time'. During this time, I may write a blog post, catch up on a show, sip on a glass of wine and maybe have a snack. Usually around 9:30pm or so I start to get sleepy, so I will start my nightly routine. For the past month I've been coupling my skin care routine with Smile Brilliant's custom teeth whitening system and I've seen a huge difference in the color and brightness of my teeth!

It is no secret that I enjoy my daily cup (errrr... cups...) of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine or 2 during the week. So, it goes without saying that my teeth have started to yellow and stain over time. I had tried the over the counter teeth whitening systems in the past, but never really saw great results with them. And the teeth whitening procedures at my dentist's office were out of my budget. Once I received my welcome package, I immediately opened it and started to make the molds for my custom teeth whitening trays. They made it so easy with step by step instructions on how to make the molds for the custom trays. Once the molds were dry, I placed them in the pre-addressed envelope that was provided in my kit and sent them off in the mail. Only a week or so later, I received my custom trays!

Once I received my custom trays, I was ready to start the whitening process. Smile Brilliant provides you with the teeth whitening gel as well as a desensitizing gel with your custom trays. I simply apply a thin layer of the whitening gel to the top and bottom trays and put them in my mouth to start the process. Because the trays are custom, the trays fit comfortably into my mouth and after a few moments, I forget they are there! I usually keep them in for about 45 mins to an hour (can keep them in for up to 3 hours). This is when I might finish up a blog post or catch up on a tv show before bed. Once I'm done, I just take them out, rinse them out, then brush my teeth as normal. I'll apply a small amount of the desensitizing gel in the trays and put them back in for about 20/30 mins while I wash my face and complete my nightly skincare routine. 

I've been using the trays now for over 6 weeks and I have definitely noticed a difference in not only the color, but the decrease in visible stains on my teeth. With so many other obligations during the day, it's so nice that this process doesn't interfere with anything that I wouldn't normally do! I can whiten my teeth while I blog, catch up on social media, or just wind down at the end of a busy day.

March Favorites (Most Clicked On + Sold Items)

Can you believe March is over? That means we are already 1/4th of the way through 2018?! I would say that month flew by, but for me the first few months of the year always drag! I am SO ready for some warmer temps! 

I wanted to share with you all some of the most popular items I've shared on the blog and instagram from last month. These posts are always a hit, so I thought I would go ahead and keep sharing them monthly. I use my analytics from RewardStyle (affiliate program connected to Liketoknow.it) to figure out the top purchased and clicked on items...

1. This ruffle one-shoulder swimsuit (on sale now for $25!) : Now is the time to snag this suit if you haven't yet! It is on major sale! It's so flattering! One thing I will mention, is that it doesn't have any padding on top. So, I actually ordered these inserts to put in mine.
