Amazon Purchases | February 2019

This month has both flown by and at times also felt like it was creeping along! February is such a tough month because we are all so sick of winter, but not quite ready to start shopping for spring (unless you are planning to take a tropical vacation, if so take me with you!!). But, this month I did start buying some pieces that would help transition my wardrobe into spring even though the temps will most likely be pretty chilly here in Ohio for another month or so!

Of course, I always turn to Amazon first when shopping for clothes or accessories because A. I am impatient and love the 2 day free shipping with prime. And B. they actually have some really cute pieces if you search and read the reviews!

I always always ALWAYS read reviews of any products I buy from Amazon first before I make a purchase. Items with prime shipping are usually fulfilled by Amazon, so that is also a plus!

In February, I ordered a few style pieces to add to my wardrobe, but I also order some pretty random items! But, all are very necessary!

Here's what I ordered from Amazon this month... First, let's start with clothing and accessories!

1. I ordered this cute ruffled dress after I saw it on my friend Ja'Net (Running on Clean)! It is so cute with the polka dot pattern and the ruffles! It is perfect for all the upcoming spring events like Easter, weddings and showers! It also has pockets and it's less than $27 with prime shipping! Runs true to size, I'm wearing a small.

2. I ordered this pretty bell sleeve blouse in the 'tea rose' color. I love the color of this blouse for spring! I paired it with white denim and some heels to dress it up. It would be perfect to wear on a date night, girls night, even the office! It comes in a few other color options including black and white and is less than $19 with prime shipping! Runs true to size, I'm wearing a small.

3. I also ordered this slouchy OTS long sleeve top. It is less than $18 with prime shipping and comes in a TON of color options! Perfect to wear over a bralette! I sized up to a Medium in this top and it fits great! Make sure to check the sizing before you order!

A few other accessories I ordered this month were this Gucci 'dupe' handbag and this LV 'dupe' wallet. I was presently surprised with both of these and ended up keeping them! I love the size of the wallet and now use it everyday! I'm thinking about ordering the cream one too!

Here are some of my other random Amazon purchases this month:

1. This egg cooker has been a savior! I can not believe I waited this long to order one of these! It is SO easy to make hard boiled eggs with this guy! And they peel so much easier than when I boil them myself! Definitely worth the 20 bucks if you like hard boiled eggs!

2. I love these Aloe infused fuzzy socks! I started wearing these to bed a few years ago and they definitely help with my dry, cracked feet especially in the winter! I ordered another pair this month because I wear them so much!

3. These Blue Light Blocking Glasses have been a best seller ever since I shared them earlier in the month! I have been wearing them every day while I work on my computer and I definitely feel like they have helped with my head aches and eye straining!

4. This Eyebrow Shape and Fill pencil has been my go to for my brows and I wasn't able to find it in stores anymore! Amazon to the rescue! (I use the color 'blonde')

5. My most recent order was my Nutpods creamer! I just started the Faster Way to Fat Loss program (more on this in a future blog post!) and I wanted to use this creamer in my coffee in the mornings while I was fasting. It isn't bad if you add a little stevia to it!

Transitional Shoes for Spring

This time of year it's hard to know what type of shoes we need for what ever weather it's going to be for the day! Some days its raining, some days its snowing, and some days its sunny and actually above freezing?! I've had some questions about transitional shoe options from winter to spring, so I thought I would do a little round up of what I have and what I recommend for this time of year...

Best part is... they are all less than $100 and most are under $50!!

Current sales
-Get 15% off everything, 20% off of $99 or 25% off of $199 at DSW, use code: XOXO (ends tonight!)

-Get $10 off when you spend $40 or more on clothes, shoes and accessories at Target!

First, let me go ahead and share the shoes I own and love that I am planning on wearing to transition into spring...

1. I recently ordered this pair of pointed toe mules after seeing them on a few blogger friends of mine and I am smitten with them! I love this pointed toe trend because it helps to elongate my short and stumpy legs! And I just love the subtle studded detailing on the sides!

2. Another new pair I recently ordered are these slip on sneakers. Oh my heavens are they comfy! Like walking on my memory foam mattress! And I love the slight texture and neutral color of them. I know I will get a TON of use out of these because they are perfect for that hashtag mom life!

3. I also recently got this pair of New Balance sneakers and this is another pair that I've already got a ton of use out of! They are a great athletic shoe to wear around running errands or if you want to look like you are planning to work out while wearing your athleisure 😄 They also come in a grey or black, but I just love this mauvy-pink color for spring!

4. I bought this pair of wedge sneakers on the fall and unfortunately they have been sold out in the grey color for a while now! BUT, I did find a very similar pair from Target that are under $35! I didn't want to splurge on these because I wasn't sure how much I would wear them. However, I actually have been wearing them a lot and I love how they add something extra to an other wise normal outfit. And having that extra 'lift' really makes a difference on my 5'2" frame!

A few other faves:

These pink bow mules got a TON of wear last spring and summer and I'm definitely bringing them back for the spring season! One of my favorite Amazon finds for less than $15 (price depends on size)!!

These pointed toe loafers also got a ton of wear last spring and fall. I love the neutral tone and they just go with everything! This loafer is low in stock, but I found a similar pair that is a little more pricey, but I would be willing to spend the money because you will get a ton of wear out of these!

If you need a good pair of heels to make you feel sassy for date night, I have been loving this pair of leopard heels that are less than $30!

Old Navy Try On | February 2019

Happy Thursday aka Friday Eve!

I wanted to share some finds from Old Navy today because they are currently having a sale AND it's time to use your super cash if you have any! You can get 20% off your order with code 'SWEET' at checkout!

I was able to hop into Old Navy last weekend and try on a few things. They have so many cute new arrivals for spring! I ended up bringing a lot more home with me than I thought I would!

*Just for sizing reference: I am 5'2" ish and typically wear a small in tops and a 4/6/small in bottoms at Old Navy. Depending on the pants/jeans I'll sometimes order a short or petite length.

Pretty much everything I tried on and am sharing runs true to size!

I loved this cute pink half zip pullover (comes in other colors)! Runs true to size, I'm wearing a small.

Next up, I knew I wanted to try on a pair of white denim and this pair was the first and only pair I tried and loved them so much I took them home! I love the raw hem and the fact that they are just distressed a little on one knee. These run TTS.

I also love the fit of these boyfriend tees. Sometimes you just want a loose fit easy tee! These run true to size, I'm wearing a small.

And these booties were actually randomly in the dressing room (they were a little too big) but it was nice to have them to try on with some of these outfits!

I knew I needed this plaid, super soft top as soon as I saw it! I just love to colors and it's just perfect to pair with white denim!

Showing a few ways to wear this top below. On the right, I'm wearing it tied around my waist with one of my favorite tunic sweatshirts (I have this in 3 colors now lol! Perfect to wear with leggings too!)

Who doesn't love a good pair of comfy joggers?! These are so comfortable and I just love the dark marbled grey color. They do come in other colors here

And this striped long sleeve luxe tee is SO soft and comfy! Such a great staple for your wardrobe!

Another sweatshirt I picked up was this cute and comfy hoodie! It has great length on it and I just love the color bands on the arms. I'm wearing it below with my favorite distressed jeggings!

A few other favorites not pictured:

-I ordered this denim jacket for the spring
-Also ordered this water-resistant hooded anorak jacket (in black) because I am in desperate need of a new rain jacket!

-I have and love this olive shirt dress! I bought mine in the fall and wore it a ton! It is back in stock for spring!
-I also have and love this plush knit striped baseball tee! It is so soft and lightweight!
