Countdown to Christmas | Vol. 2

Hello and happy Monday! It's Veteran's Day AND my birthday so a lot to celebrate! First, I want to pay respect to all the past Veterans that have fought for our country and have helped keep freedom alive! Thank you all so much for your service! 

Over the weekend we celebrated Bill and my anniversary, our Nephew's birthday and my birthday! So it was definitely a fun weekend. Yesterday, I spend some time with my mom shopping and ended the night with ice cream with the family, it was just what I wanted for my birthday. Well, that and to put up our Christmas tree! Yes, I know it seems a little early, but for some reason this year I was just itching to put up our new 7' Prince Flocked tree from King of Christmas! I grabbed some cute ornaments and the metal tree collar from Hobby Lobby. The pillow is from Amazon! I may still add a few more details to it, but for now I'm loving the color scheme and the soft glow of the lights at night and in the early morning.

I found some really cute items for fall lately from Old Navy and I'm excited to share them with you! Let's get started!

This right here is my favorite basic outfit for fall! Leggings, tunic tank, denim jacket and comfy sneakers are my jam!

These swing tanks are perfect to wear with leggings! They come in tall and petite sizes too if you need the extra length to wear with leggings. I suggest sizing up for the denim jackets. I'm linking to a really great pair of high waisted compression leggings that I tried on in store last time I was there.

Wearing the same outfit, but just wanted to share a few other lightweight jacket options that are a part of the sale and great for fall! These jackets fit true to size (I'm wearing a small in both) and the moto jacket also come in a pretty camel color for fall!

I love love LOVE this soft cardigan! It is the perfect cozy layer for fall! Comes in several different colors, but I'm loving this 'Icelandic Mineral' color that is such a pretty pale pink color. This tunic sweater is so good I know have it in 2 colors!! The pink color is so pretty and the oatmeal color is just classic. Love them dressed up with over the knee boots (these boots are currently 40% off with code: PREFALL) or dressed down with leggings and mules.

How perfect is this plaid tunic top for fall? I love this plaid color combo! And it's long enough for leggings! Also love it paired with my new black distressed jeggings and layered under a quilted vest.

Recent Old Navy Finds | May 2019

Happy Friday!! Can you believe the pools will be opening next weekend? Or perhaps they are already open where you live! All the kiddos are excited for school to come to an end! I am looking forward to a fun summer!

I have a few trips planned over the next few months, one with the whole family to Colorado, one girls' weekend trip to Put in Bay and one with just Bill to....ITALY!!! I am so excited!! I have never been to Italy! We are flying into Milan and will be staying a 3 nights at Lake Como and also visiting most of northern Italy! We are still working out some of the details, but you know I have already started shopping! This trip is actually a reward trip for Bill's hard work with his company! It is well deserved because he works so hard! We are going to Italy the second week in July, so I have some time to plan what we will be doing and what I need to bring. I will keep you posted on what I decide to pack.

This romper is probably one of my favorite pieces from my recent Old Navy order. It is so lightweight so it would be perfect to take with you if you are traveling somewhere with tropical or warm weather. It's also perfect to dress up or down! I'm showing you how I would dress it up below. This one comes in tall options if you have a longer torso. It is true to size, I'm in a small.

Another cute and comfy option is this polka dot romper! I love the ruffle neckline of this one and the straps are adjustable! Also comes in a few other color/pattern options as well. Also comes in petite or tall options, runs TTS and I'm wearing a small.

A comfy black maxi dress is a staple in my spring and summer wardrobe! This would be a perfect travel outfit and I would just wear my denim jacket over this on the plane (bc I am always freezing on planes!). And now for a few sleeveless tops I am loving for summer! Starting with this striped ruffle tank! It comes in a few other stripe options and a few floral prints as well. Old Navy Try On | February 2019

Happy Thursday aka Friday Eve!

I wanted to share some finds from Old Navy today because they are currently having a sale AND it's time to use your super cash if you have any! You can get 20% off your order with code 'SWEET' at checkout!

I was able to hop into Old Navy last weekend and try on a few things. They have so many cute new arrivals for spring! I ended up bringing a lot more home with me than I thought I would! 

*Just for sizing reference: I am 5'2" ish and typically wear a small in tops and a 4/6/small in bottoms at Old Navy. Depending on the pants/jeans I'll sometimes order a short or petite length. 

Pretty much everything I tried on and am sharing runs true to size!

I loved this cute pink half zip pullover (comes in other colors)! Runs true to size, I'm wearing a small. 

I'm also wearing these high rise, secret slim pockets raw hem ankle jeans (these run TTS). 

Next up, I knew I wanted to try on a pair of white denim and this pair was the first and only pair I tried and loved them so much I took them home! I love the raw hem and the fact that they are just distressed a little on one knee. These run TTS. 

I also love the fit of these boyfriend tees. Sometimes you just want a loose fit easy tee! These run true to size, I'm wearing a small. 

And these booties were actually randomly in the dressing room (they were a little too big) but it was nice to have them to try on with some of these outfits! 

I knew I needed this plaid, super soft top as soon as I saw it! I just love to colors and it's just perfect to pair with white denim!

Who doesn't love a good pair of comfy joggers?! These are so comfortable and I just love the dark marbled grey color. They do come in other colors here. 

And this striped long sleeve luxe tee is SO soft and comfy! Such a great staple for your wardrobe! 

Another sweatshirt I picked up was this cute and comfy hoodie! It has great length on it and I just love the color bands on the arms. I'm wearing it below with my favorite distressed jeggings!

-I have and love this olive shirt dress! I bought mine in the fall and wore it a ton! It is back in stock for spring!
