Moving Week!

I can not believe moving week is here... I'm still in denial that we are moving 2 states away in just a few short days. Movers come tomorrow to pack everything, then they will load everything on Thursday. One thing that is saving us from being too stressed is that Bill's new company has hired a moving company (as part of his relocation package) that will pack everything for us and will load and store it all until we are at our new house, which will be Saturday morning. I could not imagine trying to pack our whole house right now! All we have to do is take stuff off the walls and pack our own suitcases with anything we will need for the few days in-between and anything valuable (jewelry, photos, keepsakes, etc) that we do not want the movers handling, so that's what I've been slowly working on today. We plan to stay with Bill's parents for a night then, we will be driving to Plainfield, IL for our closing on Friday and staying in a hotel that night. Movers will deliver our things on Saturday morning.

My parents hosted a lovely little going away brunch for us this past Sunday. My mom's side of the family was mostly there. My mom put together a cute little basket of goodies for us and had everyone sign a print of Ohio and 2 cute little "Somebody in Columbus loves me" onesies for the boys. It really started to hit me that I probably wouldn't see these people (besides my parents) for a while...

As I pack up some of Camden's keepsake items, I'm realizing that he probably won't even remember this house and it makes me so sad. This is the house where Bill proposed, where we brought Camden home from the hospital, where he had all of his 'firsts' so far...

I'm so excited for this new adventure for our family, but can't help but start to be a sentimental thinking about leaving our little ranch home for the last time...

Wish us luck! This week will be a whirlwind I'm sure, so probably won't be posting for a bit. However, I'm very excited to update you all on our new home when we get settled!

Oh, and PS - I'm 21 weeks and feeling so much better now! Just in time for this crazy moving week!

Lust List || Spring Bags

I have been craving all things Spring lately (winter, I am officially over you...). For the past few months, I've been trying my best not to spend too much money on clothes and accessories just due to all the moving, new house stuff coming up. However, I've decided that Spring 2016 will be the season I splurge on a new bag. I specifically want a tote/large satchel size, so that is what I've been looking at online recently. I am loving all the blush/neutral tones that are on trend right now and they would be the perfect spring color!

I've narrowed it down to the following 4 bags:

1 || kate spade 'cedar street - small jensen' leather tote ... I love the classic look of this tote. The neutral color can be worn with almost anything and it seems to have enough room for everything I need! Plus, you can't go wrong with anything kate spade!

2 || Tory Burch 'Small York' Saffiano Leather Buckle Tote ... I have had this particular bag on my wish list for a while and think it would be a very practical choice. I love this blush tone (light oak), but also love the 'luggage' color that I could carry pretty much year round.

3 || Henri Bendel West 57th Satchel ... This bag caught my eye when I spotted it on Kristin's instagram feed. I love the color and size and that it has a classic look to it. Plus, you can add a monogram! Bonus!

4 || GiGi New York Mini Taylor Bone Embossed Python ... I've wanted a GiGi NY bag for a while as well and this tote is the perfect size to carry all my necessities on a daily basis. I love this neutral tone and that it can also be monogramed!

So, tell me... which is your favorite? Comment below!
PS - Movers will be here in one week! Ahh! How is this happening so fast! Planning to post a little update on our move soon!

Feeling the LOVE...

We had a very relaxing Valentine's weekend. We really didn't have anything planned so, my expectations were pretty low this year given the move, Bill's new job, etc etc.

Friday night, Bill's parents offered to watch Cam so we could have a date night. It had been so long since we have gone out just the 2 of us, so we jumped on the chance. We ended up going to the Movie Tavern and seeing 'Hail Caesar' and having dinner there. We were not very impressed with the movie, but it was nice just spending some quality time together out of the house for a night.

Saturday morning, I met some of my friends and a few of their babes at Sunny Street Cafe for brunch. We had planned a 'babies and brunch' date a while back and unfortunately, a few of the babes ended up being too sick to join, so it was mostly just us moms. Camden and I went and he brought some home made Valentines to give to the other babes...

I look forward to the time where he brings a decorated mail box to school and has to make real valentines for all his classmates! I feel like I saw so many creative/pinterest-y ideas this year for the valentines!

After brunch, we just took it easy at the house because it was sooooo cold outside! I was having a craving for pizza, so Bill went out and came home with this...

For a pregnant girl, this is a very romantic gesture! It hit the spot and we ended the night with a marathon of Fixer Upper, one of my favorite binge watching shows at the moment.

Bill even let me sleep in while he got up with Camden (he is waking up between 5:30 - 6:30 these days... oy!) both Saturday and Sunday. That in itself was a great Valentine's gift! To my surprise I found a beautiful bouquet of red roses waiting for me when I woke up Sunday morning... The Hubs still got it! Even through all the stress and craziness of our lives, he had the time to go get me some flowers for Valentine's day. Yes, he is a keeper for sure!

I brought home a heart shaped cake from the grocery store for him and that was the extend of my gift for him. I felt like I should have done so much more! He deserves more and I told him once things calm down I promised to cook him a nice meal to make up for it!

This week will be filled with work, preparing for our move (in less than 2 weeks!) and just trying to stay warm!

How was your weekend and Valentine's Day?
