4 Favorites // Winter Cozy...

Yes, every post this month will be Christmas related :)

I'm linking up with my girls Ashlyn of Let It Be Beautiful and Kristin of Fancy Things for this week's 4 Favorites. The theme this week is Winter Inspiration. I decided to go more towards the Holiday Inspiration theme bc it's been on my mind! :)

It's been pretty chilly around these parts and lately, all I've wanted to do after a long day of work is curl up by the fire, sip hot cocoa and watch a Christmas flick... Anyone else with me?

ONE // ok, ok... You've seen these mugs all over the blog-o-sphere... But, they are perfect for a festive cup of hot chocolate!

TWO // I purchased these socks from Old Navy last weekend when they were having their sale and now they are not on the website anymore :/ Must have been a popular item! I am all about the cozy socks while bumming it around the house. For more cozy sock options click here

THREE // I mean... This movie is an obvious choice around this time of year... I just love Will Farrell!

FOUR // My new favorite holiday decor accessory is the flameless candle! They even have scented ones. I decorated our mantel with these.

Speaking of the holiday spirit, here are some snapshots of our Christmas decor around the house:

This banner was left over from our Holiday Cocktail Party last year. I decided to put it on the tree.

This ornament was given to us as a wedding gift! Something to cherish for the rest of our lives :)

Of course, we need to have a Brutus ornament to represent our Buckeyes. I got the gold pineapple on our honeymoon in Hawaii.

Our mantel! I used the gold "R" from our wedding in place of a wreath. I like it for now. I just purchased a boxwood wreath that I may be decorating to replace it... we'll see!

I just love these stockings and stocking hangers form Target!

The photo on the mantel is the one we took right after we got engaged almost 1 year ago on Christmas day :)

Happy holiday decorating!

LL Styling Gift Guide Series // Kate Spade

This year, Bill and I will not be exchanging gifts. With the wedding and our fabulous trip to Hawaii (I plan on posting photos soon!), we decided to for-go the gifts this year. However, that doesn't mean that a girl can't dream!

I thought I would put together a few gift guides to help those that are in need of some ideas...

First up, one of my favorite places to daydream... KateSpade.com!

I had the privilege of stopping in the Kate Spade store while in Wiakiki beach, and let me tell you... it was hard to leave with out purchasing everything!

Here are a few items that are on the top of my list. I have separated them out into categories for your convenience...

Anyone take advantage of the Cyber Monday deals yesterday??

I'll be back tomorrow with photos from our Christmas decorations and a new Etsy item that is about to hit the shop! Also, more gift guides to come! Stay tuned!

Hello December!

I can't believe it is already December, folks! Wow, have the last few weeks just flown by! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the Rumple family. I was so excited to get our tree on Friday!

I just love the smell of a REAL Christmas tree! This year we picked out a very full Douglas Fir tree. We usually get a Fraser Fir, but I have heard that Douglas Fir trees are more fragrant. However, their needles shed more :/ I've already had to vacuum around it a few times.

I will post the final product after we decorate it tonight! I love decorating the tree together :)

It's time to write down my goals for December...

1 // Organize the house! We have some very generous friends and family that gave us wonderful gifts for the wedding... Now, it's the daunting task of figuring out where everything is going to go! Maybe we need a bigger house :) jk...

2 // Re-open the Etsy shop! It has been closed for a little over a month now for the wedding. I do miss creating and crafting. It's time for some new ideas for items to sell too... I might be selling some items from my wedding... more to come!

3 // Get back on a healthy diet + workout routine... Guys, I have gained back all the weight I lost for the wedding in just 3 weeks. It is so sad how fast it can come back! I am excited to try out the new juicer and maybe do a cleanse?

4 // Get all my name change chores completed... the not so glamorous part of getting married...

5 // Get back into blogging regularly... I have missed it! So many new ideas for posts!

That's all for now... What are your December goals?
