Hi friends! Today I have something fun to share! Taylor from Taken By Taylor Photography reached out to me via Instagram and wanted to set up a photoshoot. She is new to the Columbus area and is working on building her clientele. I felt like it was fait because I have been wanting to find a local photographer to help me out with professional photos for my blog. We set a date and now I have this professional looking blog post with some amazing outfit pictures! We shot three outfits and to be honest, I thought this one would be my least favorite... But, it turned out to be my favorite of all 3! Taylor got some amazing shots for me to use for my social media as well. Now, on to the outfit! One of my favorite fall looks is a comfy pair of distressed black jeans, graphic tee and cardigan. When I put this outfit together, I immediately thought it was too 'edgy'. But, seeing myself in this outfit I realize that it is my true style; comfy, on trend and fun!
Who doesn't love a cozy cardigan for fall? I love this leopard print one so much, I now have it in 3 color ways! Love the grey and black print on this one. It is SO soft too! I wear a small in these and they run a bit oversized.
For me, jeans need to be comfortable and cute at the same time. This pair of pull on black distressed jeans has been one of my most worn pairs since I got them last year. Best part is, they are totally affordable as well! They are also ankle length, so they work perfectly with booties too!
I'm sad to say this particular graphic tee is sold out, but linking to a bunch of similar ones at the bottom of this post. I love the black on black for a more edgy look for fall.
One of my favorite recent trends is the fashion sneakers. I got this pair of Steve Madden sneakers last year and I love them! The pop of red with the laces is what sold me. You could definitely switch out the laces for something more neutral as well if you wanted. I thought for sure this pair would be all sold out, but found them on clearance HERE! These run true to size.
Tomorrow is September! The start of my favorite season of the year. September and October bring in cooler temps and all the fall things. The boys start (in person) school next week, so a little nervous about that, but they are so excited. August flew by! It's always an awkward month because we all want it to feel like fall and we start buying all the cardigans and sweaters even though it's still 90 degrees! But, in the anticipation of the best of the best selling out, now is the time to stock up on booties, cardigans, sweaters and all the fall fashion items.

Happy August! I can't believe it's here! August always reminds me of 'back to school' season and the very beginning of Fall and all the Fall things. Of course, this year 'back to school' looks and feels a bit different, but we are going to make the best of it! Even though we may be spending more time at home, I still am excited for this shopping season.
