October Amazon Finds

Happy almost Halloween! I can not believe tomorrow is the last day of October!! This year has been flying by! The boys are so excited to dress up as the PJ masks tomorrow night for trick or treat. Their cousin (who is a girl) is joining them to be Owlette to complete the super hero trio! As much as I LOVE the holiday season that is about to start, I also love that my boys get excited about these holidays. Camden especially loves Halloween, so I am going to really try to have fun and make some memories tomorrow. He also had his halloween parade and party in his pre K class tomorrow, so he will definitely get some good use out of his costume! 

Now, on to my Amazon favorites from this month! I decided it's probably easier to just do a monthly round up of all my Amazon favorites so there is one place you can reference to find them! I found a lot of great pieces this month that will be staples in my fall and winter wardrobe! I always find that reading the reviews for quality and sizing is best when ordering from Amazon. It can also be somewhat of a black hole, so I have taken the hours of searching, ordering and trying on out of the equation for you! Saving you time and money!! I will only share items I would wear myself, so you can be rest assured these items are legit!

I'm 5'2" and typically wear a small in tops and a 4/6/small in bottoms.

I shared this outfit earlier this week on IG stories. These camo high waisted leggings are SO comfy and soft! They come in a ton of pattern and color options too. Run TTS, I'm in a small. I also love these tunic long sleeve tees for layering with leggings and vests in the fall. They come in a bunch of color options (I have 3!) and run TTS.

When I saw this striped top on my friend Ja'Net from Running on Clean I knew I needed it too! The inside material is so fleecy soft! Like the perfect light weight sweatshirt! These come in other color and stripe options and run TTS (I'm in a small). Great to throw on and go!

How cute is this leopard print beanie?! It is so soft and cozy too! Comes in a few leopard color options and would make a great stocking stuffer! I also had to order another one of these tunic length tanks because they are so perfect with leggings and to layer under jackets for fall.

I loved the short sleeve version of this striped tee so much I had to order the long sleeve version too! Perfect for layering under jackets, vest, blanket scarfs, etc (BTW - the color says navy stripe, but it is definitely black and white)! Like this super cozy sherpa lined reversible vest! Tee runs true to size (I sized up to a medium for a length) and vest is also TTS.

This sherpa pullover is SO soft and cozy!! Would make a great gift for the holidays too! Comes in a ton of color options and runs TTS or size up one for length to wear with leggings (I'm in a small).

Another great layering long sleeve tunic top is this one! Comes in both this grey color or black. I love the side slit detail on these as well. Perfect for leggings and to layer under a vest!

I also ordered this leopard print blouse. It would be perfect for the office, tucked into a high waisted skirt or under a black blazer. Or you could dress it down and wear it out to dinner or drinks! I have it here paired with leggings (it is long enough for me!), tall boots and my faux leather jacket. Blouse runs TTS and also comes in solid color options (I'm in a small).

My Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hello friends! Today I wanted to share my everyday makeup tutorial which includes all the products I use on an everyday basis. I have always been someone that enjoys putting make up on every morning. It makes me feel more awake and productive through out the day. I might have my dirty hair up in a bun and run errands in sweatpants, but you know I will have my make up on! 😆

I've got my routine down to a science and it literally only takes me about 10 minutes in the morning. I suffer from dry sensitive skin, so my everyday foundation I use helps keep my skin hydrated through out the day. If you have more oily skin, this one may not work for you and you might want to try a more matte foundation. Most of products I use everyday can be found at Target or most drug stores, but the one product that is a splurge and I can't live without is my Tarte Shape Tape! Trust me, this concealer/brightener is worth the hype! I also have been trying out this new eyeshadow pallet and blush by Milani and love both of these! Especially for the price! 

My Daily Makeup Routine

1. I have been using this primer and it has helped to color correct, smooth out my skin and reduce the appearance of my pores before I put on my foundation.

2. I then apply my foundation (I use the color 'cool beige') all over my face using a damp beauty sponge (get a pack of 5 for under $10!). 

3. Then it's time to go in with my Shape Tape Concealer (I use the shade 'Light'). I use a good amount under my eyes and around my nose (to reduce redness). I then blend out with a damp beauty sponge.

4. I set my face with this translucent powder using a fluffy brush. I focus around the areas I used the Shape Tape. 

5. Next, I will fill in my eyebrows with this eyebrow shape and fill pencil (in the color 'blonde'). I use the color 'blonde'.

6. Then, I will start on my eyeshadow. I just recently got this eyeshadow pallet and love the colors for fall! I use a neutral light color for the base and then fill in the crease and outer corners with a few of the darker colors. I also really love this 'Tartelette in Bloom' Pallet for everyday. 

7. Then, I use my Stila 'Stay All Day' Liquid eyeliner (in 'intense black') to line my top lid. I have been using this eyeliner for years and it is SO good! It makes a dramatic line and does not smudge AT ALL through out the day. Liquid liner may take some getting used to, but now I will never go back! 

8. After I put on my liquid liner on the top, I go in and 'tight line' my upper and lower water lines with this eyeliner pencil (in the color 'perversion'). This just helps make my eyes 'pop'! 

9. Then, I put on my eyelash primer on my top row of eyelashes. While I let that dry, I will go in and do my bronzer/contouring (below). Once the primer is dry, I will put on this mascara in the color 'black'. This primer + mascara combo really helps my eyelashes look full and longer!

10. I have been using this bronzer to contour my face, but a good 'drug store' alternative is this one! I just use an angled brush to contour around my forehead, under my cheek bones and around my jaw line. I also make sure to blend really well so there are no harsh lines.

11.  just got this blush in the color 'Blossomtime Rose' and I LOVE it! It has a slight shimmer to it which acts as somewhat of a highlighter as well. I just use a big blush brush and apply to the apples of my cheeks.

12. Then, it's time to fill in my lips! I have been using this lip liner in the color 'whipped caviar' and it is the perfect mauve/pink/nude color. After I line my lips I will put on whatever shade of lipstick I have on hand (I change it up a lot!). Right now I am loving this Milani lipstick in the color 'Rose Femme' which is a great darker color for fall. 

13. Last but not least, I top my lips with my favorite NYX Butter gloss in the shade 'Crème Brulee' Which is the perfect nude gloss and helps to tone down the darker color of the lipstick. I keep this gloss on me at all times and will reapply through out the day.

There you have it! My everyday make up routine! It sounds like a lot all written out, but really it takes me just 10 minutes in the morning to do this!

Weekly Recap | October Wk 3

Happy Friday! This week seemed to fly by, anyone else? It really started to feel like fall this week and even dropped down in the 40s one day here in Ohio! I have to admit, I'm not mad about it! Now I can actually wear all my fuzzy sweaters and boots out in public without sweating! We have plans to visit a pumpkin patch this weekend and Bill and I may get a chance to sneak out for a date night so, I'm excited about that!
