Toddler Boy Spring and Summer Style

Here it is! The long awaited Boys' clothes for Spring and Summer post! I've had a few requests to share where I find my boys' clothes and shoes, so I have rounded up a bunch of our favorite styles for the boys for Spring and Summer. This post is specific to boys ages 1 - 5 (or sizes 2T to 5T).

Some of my favorite brands/retailers for the boys' clothes are Old Navy, Target, Kohl's and Carter's. If I'm being honest, I actually do not like spending money on their clothes. First of all, they are boys and they are tough on their clothes and shoes! Secondly, they grow out of their clothes and shoes so quickly at this age! Luckily, Bennett is exactly one year behind Camden in size, so he will get a lot of Camden's hand me downs, but the shoes are always so worn out once Camden is done with them!

So, I ALWAYS check for sales before buying my boys their clothes. I recently bough a bunch of t-shirts, tanks and shorts from Old Navy because they were having a big sale. I would suggest waiting until there is a big sale and stocking up on a bunch of tees, tanks and shorts for the spring and summer. I also love Kohl's for the boys because it seems they are always running some type of sale!

For the spring and summer, I like to make sure they have a lot of comfy tees, tanks and shorts that they can wear to school and just everyday play. I also like these athletic sets for playing outside, at the gym, etc. Kohl's usually also has these cute sets if they need to be more dressy for an event or church, etc. I also love these PJ sets from Kohl's the best!

Now, let's talk shoes. For the past 4 years I have bought Camden a new pair of Native shoes for the summer and they are 100% worth the price! Last year both the boys had matching native shoes and they wore them all summer long! And this year, Bennett will get Camden's pair from last year and they look barely worn! These shoes are so durable and they are just perfect for summer when it's too hot to wear socks, but the flip flops just don't cut it at the playground! They are also water proof so they are great for water play too. I just ordered Camden new pair from Amazon! But, you can also get them from Nordstrom with free shipping. I always price check both sites first before purchasing because Amazon changes their pricing based on supply and demand.

I also usually buy the boys a new pair of Nike athletic shoes for school and for just general everyday wear. I love the Nike shoes because they just fit them the best and the quality is really good! I also will buy the boys a pair of dressier shoes they can wear to events or church, etc.

As far as swimwear goes, I usually buy them each a set from Target or Old Navy. I love the matching sets! I've linked to several options below.

Recent Amazon Purchases + What's In My Cart

Happy Hump Day, friends! I wanted to share with you all what I've purchased from our favorite online retailer (Amazon, duh!) recently as well as what is currently in my cart waiting for me to pull the trigger... These posts are always so popular! I think it was over a month since my last one, so it's time for an update!

Here's what I purchased in the month of April:

1. This $15 kimono was definitely a top favorite purchase of last month. And it proved to be popular with my followers as well! It was one of the most purchased items I've posted from last month!

2. This bamboo clutch was also a favorite purchase from last month! I am so excited to use it this summer and on my vacation! It is the perfect size for all the necessities like phone, wallet, lip gloss, etc. And it is less than $40 with free prime shipping!

3. This $10 bralette was also a popular item that has been purchased from a handful of my followers as well! This one is really comfortable and perfect to wear under over sized sweaters/tees, etc. As I mentioned in my last post, I wear this bralette over my favorite strapless bra for added support.

4. I ordered these fun red beaded earrings and I can't wait to wear them! They are the perfect statement piece for summer! And you can't beat the price tag! I also just ordered these colorful tassel earrings and am anxiously awaiting their arrival today. I just love all the colorful statement jewelry that is on trend right now!

5. Another purchase were these invisibobble hair ties. They are supposed to be better for your hair than regular hair ties because they won't pull or create a crease in your hair when you use them. I've been using them whenever I have my hair up now and they work great!

6. One item I purchased for Bennett was this Fisher-Price booster seat. We went with this one because it is the newer version of the same one Camden currently uses. I can't believe my baby is in a booster seat now 😭

Here are a few items I have waiting in my cart...

1. This tropical print dress would be the perfect casual dress for my upcoming vacation! And the price is just right!

2. I am still waiting to pull the trigger on this colorful, off the shoulder one piece! I think I may have to just get it and hope for the best! It has some great reviews and for less than $20 it's a steal! Not sure I really need another bathing suit, but I have 3 black one pieces so I need to liven it up a bit with some color!

3. I also have this travel steamer in my cart and it's been there for a while. We actually don't own a steamer and I think this one would be perfect to use at home and for travel.

4. This clutch is in my cart because I need a 'dressier' one to bring with me to a few weddings this summer. I need a neutral tone one and thought this one would be perfect!

5. Last, but not least, I have a few items for the boys in my cart for summer! I want to get them a little picnic table for the backyard. AND this pool looks like so much fun!

That's all I have for this month's Amazon finds!

Recent Amazon Finds + What's in My Cart

You all voted for this post (via my instastories poll) so here it is!! I've been meaning to share this type of post for a while now and I feel like now is the perfect time because there are so many cute, affordable fashion finds on Amazon for spring! And if you have a prime membership, then these items could show up on your doorstep in just a few days!

Oh, Amazon... how you have come to my rescue in so many ways over the past few years! I've noticed that a lot of my most popular items that I post about on the blog and instagram are from Amazon! It seems as though you all are just as in love with free, 2-day shipping as I am! So, I thought it would be fun to share some recent finds and what's in my Amazon shopping cart...

+ I just received these sunglasses and I am loving them! I actually got both the tortoise shell ones and a black pair in this set for only $16! I love that they are almost an identical dupe for these very popular designer sunglasses.

+ I'm also loving these designer inspired sunnies as well, which are currently sitting in my cart waiting for me to pull the trigger!

What else is in my Amazon cart you say? Well, I'm so glad you asked! Here's what I have in my cart...

+ These $15 high waisted, tummy control cropped leggings. They are a best seller and have great reviews! I mean... do I really need another pair of workout leggings? Prob not, but it would help give me some more motivation to workout and go to the gym! And you can not beat a $15 price tag!

+ After the SNOW that we got today, my mind is on our girls' getaway to the Dominican Republic in June! So, I have a few things on my wish list and in my cart for the trip. First up is this adorable bamboo handbag that would be perfect for a beach vacation! It was the 'it' bag of last summer and it is back again as one of the most popular bags for spring. Only this one is much more affordable than the designer one!

+ I also have my eye on this cute $11 pom pom cover up! I just love the bright colors too! I also have my eye on this one.

+ This striped beach bag with pom pom detail is also on my wish list for the trip!

I also have a few things in my cart for the boys...

+ Bennett is getting a little too restless in his highchair these days and always wants to sit in his big brother's booster seat at our table, so I think it's time we get him his own! My sister in law got this one for her one year old son last summer for our obx trip and she still uses it with him a lot! It's great bc it can fold up and you can take it places or you can use it as a booster seat on a regular chair. It also comes with a detachable tray.

+ Along with the new booster seat, I think I want to start using these silicone place mats with the built in plates for Bennett. He is in the 'let's throw my plate on the floor because it's funny' phase which is just so fun (insert sarcasm)! I love this one with the dino shaped plate.

+ I am also on the hunt for some Easter shoes for the boys. I just ordered their outfits from Old Navy and I'm realizing I don't have 'nice' shoes for them to wear with their outfits. I found this pair which are a good casual/dressy option to go with their outfits. And they are only $11! I hate spending money on shoes or clothes for them when I know they won't wear them much and will grow out of them in a month!

+ On the topic of toddler shoes, I am definitely ok with spending the money for 2 pairs of these shoes for the boys for the spring/summer. I had a pair for Camden the last 2 summers and they are the best! I know Old Navy and Target have some similar styles for less, but these are just better quality and they are not as 'stiff' feeling, so I think they are more comfortable.

There you have it folks! What I am loving from Amazon currently. I'm thinking about making these Amazon picks a monthly post, so if you like this type of post let me know in the comments below!

Gift Ideas for Toddlers

How was everyone's Thanksgiving weekend? We had a great Thanksgiving with family and just relaxed most of the weekend. Oh, and started decorating for Christmas! I usually wait until the first week of December, but it took everything in me not to start before Thanksgiving! I wanted to respect the turkey (as they say), so I held off. But, now that Turkey time is over, my mind is full force ahead for Christmas!

I started shopping for the boys a little earlier than normal this year. Probably because I am so excited to have 2 toddlers this year that can open their gifts and be excited! Camden is just starting to understand the concept of Santa, so that is so much fun too!

I put together this gift guide for toddlers with mostly boys in mind because that is really all I have experience with. But, a lot of the items could be fun for both genders. Some of these items are on Camden and Bennett's (ok, my) wish list and some of these they already own and love!

Gift Ideas for Young Toddlers (18 mos - 2 years old):

1) VTech Push and Pop Bulldozer: Bennett is all about pushing things right now (chairs, laundry baskets, etc). He's pretty much grown out of this walker (and I personally can't stand these corn popper toys) so I think this would be a fun alternative for him!

2) VTech Spin and Learn Color Flashlight - We actually have this toy and Bennett loves all the buttons, music, lights and colors! Keeps him busy for a solid 10 minutes at a time!

3) Melissa & Doug Geometric Stacker - This toy is on my wish list for Bennett this year. He loves stacking and anything with shapes and colors. I love that these are wooden too!

4) Melissa & Doug K's Kids Pull-Back Vehicle Set - This little car set is also on Bennett's wish list this year. He always tries to take his older brother's cars and it always ends in tears! So, I want to get him his own set of cars and I love that these are pull back cars and they are soft!

5) Melissa & Doug Deluxe Jumbo Knob Wooden Shapes Puzzle - We have a similar wooden shapes puzzle and I swear that's how Camden learned all his shapes! Bennett is starting to learn his shapes now and even says 'Oh-fal' for oval when he sees it! It's so cute! I love that this one has the wooden knobs for little hands to grab easily.

6) Munchkin Fishin' Bath Toy - Bennett is really starting to love bath time! We have a similar fishing bath toy and he loves to catch the fishies! Bath toys also make great stocking stuffers for the little ones!

Gift Ideas for Older Toddlers (2 - 3 years)

1) All-New Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet, 8" HD Display, 32 GB, Blue Kid-Proof Case - Obviously, we try to limit screen time, but I will say that the ipad we have has saved my sanity numerous times over the past few years with Camden. Once Bennett is old enough, I'm sure we will have to get the boys their own devices so there is no fighting, but I'm happy that's not the case right now! I would definitely get these tablets instead of the ipad too because there are a lot more parental controls and you can give them selected time access to certain kid friendly apps such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. There are also 100s of books, TV shows, movies, and educational apps to choose from. These would be great for car rides or plane trips as well! AND they are currently on major sale for Cyber Monday!!

2) VTech Record and Learn KidiStudio - My parents actually found a similar toy at a second hand store and both boys LOVE it! It's so fun because they can record their own music, it plays nursery rhymes and there's so many different sounds they can play with. Bennett is our music man and he loves dancing to all the jams!

3) ONTEL Magic Tracks Resuce Race Car Set - This is a gift that Camden got for his birthday and he is obsessed with it! The tracks all link together and are bendable as well, so you can make hills and curves for the cars. The cars light up and run around the track. Get ready for hours of fun with this toy!

4) Haktoys RC Acrobatic Stunt Car - Camden got a remote control stunt car similar to this one (I couldn't find his exact one online) for his birthday and he loves it! It's great for his age because it only has 2 controls and since it's a 'stunt' car it's ok if it flips, crashes, etc. I think Bill actually has had the most fun with this one... lol

5) Hot Wheels Rooftop Race Garage Exclusive Playset and 9-Car Gift Pack - Another birthday present Camden received that he loves! He is all about the hotwheels cars right now and we got him a few before his birthday, but now he has about a dozen and this cool racing ramp!

6) Radio Flyer Color FX EZ Glider 3 Wheel Scooter, Red and Joovy Noodle Helmet, Red - We actually got Camden a Paw Patrol scooter for his birthday, but then decided we wanted to return it for a better one. Bill figured out it is better (especially for beginners) to have the 2 wheels in the front instead of the back for balance. We also need to get him a helmet!

A few other suggestions are this play tunnel (great for crawlers as well!), a play slide, mini basketball hoop, and one on our wish list for Christmas: a mini trampoline! These are all great for indoor gross motor skills for when it's too cold to go to the park!

Also, Happy Cyber Monday!

Rainy or Cold day Activities for Toddlers in Columbus, OH

This post has been on my to do list for a while now. Yes, the weather seems to be in our favor this week, but soon this Ohio fall/winter will show up and we will no longer be able to play outside or head to the park when the toddlers become restless. I started this list in my phone a while ago as a back up for rainy days when I'm home with the boys. I'm sure once winter rolls around I will be referencing this list a lot! I may even write all of these out on little sheets of paper, put them in a hat and pull one out for our activity for the day when I'm home with both of them on Tuesdays!

Below is my current list of favorites, plus a whole slew that are on my to-do list. I'm hoping to hit all of them by the end of winter!

1. Mall Play Areas (Tuttle Mall, The Shops at Worthington Place, Polaris Fashion Place) - We've been to the play area at Tuttle Mall several times now and have also been to the one at the Shops at Worthington Place. The Tuttle Mall play area was recently renovated and it such a great play spot for not only toddlers, but crawlers as well. The whole area is carpeted and there are various play stations based on age range and interest. Of course, shopping with 2 toddlers is near impossible, but if I have a quick return or just need to get them out of the house and burn some energy, this is one of our favorites. And bonus...it's FREE!

2. Sunny Street Cafe 'Mommy and Me' Breakfast Tuesdays @ the Polaris location: We attended a 'Mommy and Me' Breakfast at Sunny Street a few weeks ago and Camden had a blast! The Mommy and Me time is 8am - 10am every Tuesday at the new Polaris location. Pancakes for the kiddos to decorate with their favorite toppings are $1 (and are dino shaped!) and there is a new theme every week and this week's theme was tie dye! The kids got to tie dye their own t shirts. Definitely something different and a fun experience for the little ones. AND they are now serving pumpkin pancakes!!! #winwin

3. Get Air Columbus / Tree of Life Play Cafe - We have been to the Tree of Life Play Cafe a handful of times and both boys always have a blast! The food isn't bad either! We love their pizza and the boys love the pretzel and cheddar bosco sticks. Admission to play in the play area is $7 per child or you can pay $10 for playtime and includes a kids meal.

Right next door to the Tree of Life Play + Cafe is Get Air Columbus which is basically a huge gym filled with trampolines! For little ones under 46", it's $9 for one hour of jumping (which is plenty!) and you do have to buy their jump socks which are $3 per pair. Every Wednesday and Thursday they have toddler jump time from 10am to 11am for $10, plus you get a day of admission to the Play + Cafe next door. We went to toddler time a few weeks ago and both Camden and Bennett had a BLAST! AND, they both took 3 hour naps when we got home! #praisehands

Here are some indoor activity places/ideas that are on our to do list for this coming fall/winter:

Story time (local libraries) - We have yet to attend any type of story time mostly because I'm afraid neither boys will sit still for an entire story, but it's worth a shot! Also, I've heard that the Worthington libraries have great kids areas, so worth a trip!

Also, the Chick-fil-A on Sawmill Rd hosts a kids story time the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month from 9:30 - 10:15am! Plus they have a kids play area and delicious food!

Music classes - I think both boys would really enjoy music classes! Camden went when he was Bennett's age and he loved it! Tree of Life Play + Cafe is actually hosting a toddler music class next month that we may check out. (More details here)

Open gym time - The Dublin Rec center offers preschool open gym every Monday and Friday from 9 - 11am. Ages are 6 months to 6 years old. This would be a great way to have the boys burn off some energy before nap time!

COSI (Center of Science and Industry) - I've been saving this one for the winter and for when the boys are on the same schedule (which they just about are now). I figured if I'm going to pay the admission fee to get in (which would be $35 for the 3 of us, yikes! Luckily, Bennett is still free!), we will definitely be spending a good amount of time there! But, the kids space looks like so much fun and something that Camden and Bennett would really enjoy!

Franklin park conservatory - My parents actually have taken the boys to Franklin Park Conservatory on a day they were watching them while I was working. They said that both boys had a great time looking at the butterfly exhibit (which is over now, but they have on going exhibits).

Recreations Outlet - I've heard great things about their indoor playland. They offer charitable play hours every week for $2 per child and 50% of their earnings go to a monthly charity. September's charity is the Haunnah Meyer Memorial Fund. The charitable play times are Tues, Wed and Thurs, 9am - 11am.

Back to School, Back to School...

Camden is heading back to 'school' this week! We got him signed up with a 2 year old program (one more year until preschool) at a local church 2 days a week. I think he is so ready to be in a more social atmosphere and he loves to be around other kids. I'm sure he will love meeting his new friends and his teachers. I'm anxious to hear how his first day goes because he's been out of a classroom/daycare setting for over 7 months now, but I'm sure he will do just fine!

His school days are Mondays and Thursdays, so my parents will still watch them 2 days a week (one day they will just have Bennett while Camden is at school) and Bill's mom watches the boys on Fridays. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off, so that will leave me with one day at home with just Bennett and one day with both of them. I feel like it is the perfect balance for everyone! Although it will be somewhat of an adjustment for everyone with the new schedule, I'm really looking forward to my one on one time with Bennett. I feel like I haven't been able to give him my full attention especially at this important stage (starting to walk, talk, etc). And running errands with one kid vs. two seems like a breeze!

(a little fruit snack bribery for pictures goes a long way...)

Camden is at such a fun stage and growing so quickly! He's gone through a lot of milestones the past 6 months, one of which was transitioning to his big boy bed! He has done so well with this transition that it makes me hopeful for the big ones to come, mainly potty training! We started a while ago, but have since had a little regression. I'm hoping being back in a 'school' setting where he sees other kids using the potty and having his teachers help him will also help the process. Or, I just need to bite the bullet and do the naked for 3 days method! But, that will be the next big step for him. I'm hoping to plan some one on one time with him on the weekends when Bill can be with Bennett. Of course, we will have our little family outings, church, etc each weekend, but it would be nice to schedule a few hours of just mommy and Camden time.

Now that I will be home with both of them for just one day per week, I really want to start planning fun activities for us to do each week. Weather it's just a playdate at the park or going to the zoo, etc. Just something that will be fun for all of us and to continue to create fun memories with them.

Now that the boys are close to being the same size (yep!), I love dressing them! Of course, I don't want them to feel too uncomfortable and they need to be able to move around. So, I try to look for cute comfy clothes for playtime. Some of my favorite stores for toddler clothes are Target, Old Navy, GapKids, Carter's, and most recently Kohl's! I love the Cat & Jack brand at Target. They have the best easy to mix and match play clothes. Old Navy is also my go to for easy tee shirts, shorts and pants. As far as shoes go, I found a great deal on these Stride Rite shoes for Camden at Kohl's, but you can also find them on Amazon. I'm also on the hunt for a cute pair of Nike's for him, but waiting for a good sale because I can't bare to think of spending more than $40 on a pair of toddler shoes?! However, I don't mind spending a bit more on Camden's clothes because I know as soon as he grows out of them, his brother will get a chance to wear them as well.

Toddler + Baby Easter Baskets

Can you believe it is almost April?! Which means it's almost Easter time?!

I decided to get started on the boys' Easter baskets a little early this year because I felt like all the cute baskets and toys go so quickly in the stores!

On one of my recent Target runs, I came across the cutest little bunny Easter baskets that I just could not pass up! I also found some matching wood initial letters (which I could not find online, but you could totally DIY) to tie on each of their baskets so they are more personalized.

There were so many great little basket filler ideas at Target and I'm all about filling the baskets with anything non candy related since they are still a bit too young for the sugar overload. I may put a few sweet treats in Camden's basket, but Bennett will most likely just get a few eggs filled with puffs 😉

Toddlers are pretty easy to shop for. Camden is all about anything egg shaped, so I grabbed some easter egg play-doh and side walk chalk. I also thought he would have fun with a slinky. And he is all about putting things on his fingers and singing the finger family song, so I thought some little plastic finger puppets would be perfect! (I couldn't find the ones from target online, but found some similar here)

And I'm all about the easy, already filled easter eggs too! I found some really fun, toy car and dinosaur filled easter eggs on Amazon for Camden since he is really into both right now.

Bennett's basket was a bit trickier, but I did find a few rattles, a plush bunny, teething ring and a touch and feel Easter book that I knew he would like!

I also love the idea of giving books for the holidays. I found all these books via Amazon and am so excited to read them with Camden and Bennett! It's always so great to switch up the books for the seasons so they (you) don't get tired of the same ones all the time. (I linked to all these books and more below)

I ended up getting Camden so much that I couldn't fit it all in his basket! Here are a few other ideas for your toddlers. I love these Annie's organic bunny cookies for filling easter eggs too! And I found the cutest little bunny straw cup from Target as well!

Family Strolls

One thing I've missed over the past few bitterly cold months is our family walks around the neighborhood in the evenings. After Bennett was born in late June, we started taking family walks together pretty much every evening after dinner and before the bedtime routine started. It was the perfect time of night right before sunset and right around the 'witching hour' for Bennett. Our little walks around the block would instantly calm him down during his fussy newborn phase (you would seriously never know he was ever a fussy baby now!).

We would load up the stroller, get our dog Charlie on a leash and head out. Well, fast forward about 6 months and now Camden is at the age where he will only sit still in a stroller for a short time. He wants to get out and walk with us like a big boy! Enter the Evenflo Sibby travel system...

When Evenflo contacted me for this sponsorship, I was excited because I have always loved their products and was familiar with the brand. I was even more excited when they told me they would like me to try out their Sibby stroller travel system!

This travel system is perfect for the ages of our boys (Camden 2,  Bennett 7 months). The stroller comes with a removable board on the back so Camden can stand and hold on while I push the stroller.  So, if he gets tired of walking he can just glide along with us!

I love that it comes with an infant carrier (and base!) that clicks into the stroller so we can use it now while Bennett is still too small for the main stroller seat. I also love that it has a canopy on the car seat and on the stroller, so when Bennett is riding in it I can completely shade him from the sun.

The color is just the perfect shade of grey (mine is Mineral Grey, but it comes in 3 other colors) and I love that there is enough storage space underneath to store the diaper bag, blankets, or anything else I want to take with us. The stroller also folds flat which makes it easy to put in the trunk to take with us on trips, to the mall, etc.

I'm looking forward to using our Sibby stroller and continuing our tradition of family walks this spring and summer!

Thank you to Evenflo for kindly sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.

Valentine's Day Books for Baby + Toddler

I love giving Camden and Bennett little gifts for the holidays through out the year. One of my favorite gifts to give are holiday inspired books! I love the different holiday books because it gives us something new to read instead of the same ones we have that are on constant rotation.

Here are some of my favorite options for Valentine's Day books for baby and toddlers:

Of course, Camden loves everything Elmo! So this one is on the top of my list.

I have been reading Camden Llama Llama Nighty Night since he was born, so I'm definitely excited to get him this one!

These flip books are some of our favorites as well, so I know this Valentine's Day version will be a hit!

And how cute is this LOVE book from The Very Hungry Caterpillar series?!

Current Favorite Toddler Toys (under $40)

This post is in honor of my first born baby boy turning TWO this Sunday! I am in complete denial that this is happening and it came up way too quickly!

Camden is at a really fun age right now and is becoming so much more interactive with his toys and has even started to play more independently at times. Right now some of his favorite activities are counting/sorting, building towers, coloring, playing with puzzles and collecting the millions of balls we have around the house!

Below is just a short list of some of Camden's current favorite toys, as well as a few things we have on our wish list.

1. Little Tikes Easy Score Basketball Set - This one we got him for his birthday and actually set it up this past weekend when my parents were in town. It comes with 3 small basketballs and you can adjust the height of the basket. He is really into throwing balls so this definitely keeps him busy and keeps him from throwing balls towards people/babies/breakable things lol!

2. Melissa & Doug Latches Wooden Activity Board - This one I plan to give him for his birthday this weekend. It was recommended to me (Thanks Marina!). I can totally see this latch board keeping him busy for at least 10 minutes!

3. Melissa & Doug Hide and Seek Farm Wooden Activity Board With Barnyard Animal Magnets - Yes, another activity board from Melissa & Doug. I basically love anything from M & D right now. I think their products are perfect for Camden's age range. He is also really into farms right now, so this will be the perfect gift!

4. Little Tikes Count 'n Play Cash Register - This one we've had for a little while now and he still seems interested in it. He's gotten really good at putting the coins in the right slots and swiping the credit card! Maybe because he's seen mommy do it a few times ;)

5. VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Spinning Spiral Tower Playset - We bought this toy a few months ago and he loves it! It came with one car and since then I've bought more cars to go with it. Although, he likes to put other toys down the ramp... like these eggs for example... hey, whatever keeps him busy!

6. LEGO DUPLO My First Number Train Building Set - This one is currently on the wish list for Christmas. He has some of these mega blocks, but he's starting to get more into the Duplo legos which they have at his school. I think he would really like the train set and I love that it has numbers on it.

7.  Melissa & Doug On the Go Water Wow! Activity Book, 3-Pack - Animals, Alphabet, and Numbers - My mom brought one of these activity books this past weekend when they visited and Camden loved it! It's so great because you just fill the paint brush with water and it colors the pages with no mess. I repeat... NO MESS! It was the perfect distraction while in his high chair while we would prepare meals.

8. ALEX Toys Artist Studio 10 Finger Crayons - These crayons have been our favorites for a while. We found ours in the Target dollar isle, but have since bought a replacement set on Amazon. They are the perfect size for his hands and he loves stacking them.

9. Crayola, Paw Patrol, Color Wonder Mess-Free Coloring Pad and Markers, Art Tools - I am a BIG fan of these Color Wonder Mess-Free markers and we have several coloring books with different themes. These markers only color on the specific Color Wonder books and do not stain anything else!

There you have it! Our current toddler toy favorites and a few things that are on our Christmas wish list.
